The location of the hostel was fantastic, right on the beach. It was the perfect spot for lounging and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The hostel also provided kayaks and snorkel gear for free, which was a great bonus.
The wifi at the hostel was quite slow and sometimes didn't work at all. It was a bit frustrating when I needed to connect to the internet.

We recently stayed at a hostel in Placencia called Anda Di Hows and it was an absolute gem. the hostel is the only place in town with access to a stunning public beach. Surrounded by palm trees, the beach was incredibly beautiful and surprisingly empty. We had the opportunity to see stingrays, and other guests even spotted manatees and dolphins. the owner, Pandora, gave us great advice to follow the locals to witness the breathtaking bioluminescence at the beach by night. the hostel's garden was filled with a variety of impressive plants, and having a fully equipped kitchen was a game changer in the otherwise expensive Placencia.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes 😊.

Had a great weekend getaway at this hostel! Loved the fact that it was so close to the beach, just a short walk away. Also, the location was perfect, with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The best part was the free amenities like kayaks and coolers that we could borrow, which made our day trips even better.
There were a few things that I didn't like about this place. First, the bathroom setup was a bit uncomfortable, with it being semi open concept and sharing space with the kitchen.

The hostel has a laid-back vibe and is conveniently located right on the beach. The spacious common room accommodates only 10 guests, making it cozy and friendly. The beds were comfortable, and we appreciated having fans and lockers in our room. The kitchen was clean and well-equipped for cooking. Plus, the availability of free kayaks was a fantastic bonus. We met amazing people during our stay, and the host, Pandora, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The hostel dogs were adorable too. The sunrise views from the beach were unforgettable. we highly recommend this hostel for a great backpacker experience.

I had a great stay at a budget-friendly hostel in a fantastic location. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped. The host, Pandora, was friendly and helpful. The bathroom facilities were clean and the overall atmosphere at the hostel was relaxed and friendly. Despite a few drawbacks such as noisy doors and a hot room with loud roommates, I still enjoyed my stay. The hostel was steps away from the beach and conveniently located in a great part of town. I highly recommend checking out Merl's Cafe for delicious food and pastries. Despite some minor issues, I would recommend this hostel to budget travelers.

I couldn't believe how affordable this place was! Great value for my money and the room was spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect, just a minute's walk to the beach and close to all the restaurants and shops. The staff, especially Pandora and Dylan, were fantastic hosts and made me feel right at home.
The morning meal could have been better with a wider variety of options.

They even let me leave my bags until I came back from a tour. the room was nice and spacious, with fans by every bed to keep us cool. the atmosphere was friendly, and there were plenty of amenities like a kitchen and free drinking water. the hostel was right on the beachfront, so I enjoyed lounging in the hammocks and taking in the beautiful views. the staff also provided helpful suggestions for tour operators and had lots of information on traveling Belize and into Mexico and Guatemala. I really enjoyed my stay at Anda Di Hows. The atmosphere was great and it was easy to connect with fellow travelers. The hostel had a clean and welcoming environment, and I appreciated the kitchen facilities and drinkable tap water. The staff, particularly Pandora, was super friendly and helpful. They were able to assist me with making important phone calls and confirming my dive trip reservations. The location was perfect, right on the beach, and I loved being able to relax in the hammock and enjoy the beautiful view. I would highly recommend Anda Di Hows for budget travelers looking for a chilled out beach spot.
The wifi was a bit slow and unreliable at times, but it didn't hinder my overall experience too much.

I had a wonderful stay at this small beachfront hostel. The hosts were incredibly friendly, the place was spotless, and the atmosphere was so relaxing. I was impressed with the lovely decorations too! Plus, every bed had its own fan, which was a great touch. The use of kayaks on the bay was absolutely amazing - I even had the chance to see manatees and play with dolphins! The location was perfect, with everything in the village just a short walk away and immediate beach access. And let's not forget about the hammocks available for lounging - they really added to the chill vibe!
One thing that could have made the breakfast better is more variety in the food options. It would have been nice to have a few more choices to start the day off right.

The location was perfect for our romantic escape. We were just steps away from the beach, and the views were absolutely stunning. the hostel had access to a public beach, which was surprisingly empty and felt like our own private oasis. We even saw marine life like stingrays and dolphins. the garden at the hostel was impressive, with a wide variety of plants. We loved spending time in the hammocks, lounging and taking in the beautiful scenery. the hostel also had a kitchen with all the necessary equipment, which was convenient for cooking our meals.
There were a few drawbacks to our stay. the lack of privacy was a bit uncomfortable, as there were no curtains in the dorm room.
